Edward J. Schechter

Ed was educated at Cornell University (B.S. M.B.A.) where he continues his involvement with the University and its alumni associations. His association with Mr. Berkow dates back to 1974 at Touche Ross & Company in New York. Later, he joined Mr. Berkow at Henry Hinden & Company, also becoming a partner there. After 4 years involvement with his family’s manufacturing business, he joined forces once again with Mr. Berkow in 1987, continuing Mr. Berkow’s firm under the name Berkow, Schechter & Company. Mr. Schechter is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the New York State Society of CPA’s. He is married and resides in Stamford, Connecticut.
